*Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning welcomes Sudan’s delisting from the SSTL*

The official delisting of Sudan from the list of states sponsors of terrorism by the US government marks a momentous turn in Sudan’s recent history. This achievement was (1/14)

 one of the transitional government's top priorities, and now, it is considered one of its primary achievements. Sudan’s presence on the SSTL was one of the biggest obstacles to achieving economic stability and prosperity. Over the past year, the Transitional Government of (2/14)
Sudan carried out a series of negotiations, which included the Staff Monitored Program with the International Monetary Fund to restore credibility and confidence in the Sudanese economy.

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning is pleased by the international (3/14)
community’s response to the aspiration of the Sudanese people, including their support for its economic reform program by providing more than $1.8 billion in support at the Berlin Conference.

The decision to delist Sudan will bring multiple benefits to our economy, and (4/14)
to the Sudanese people directly. First, from now on, Sudanese financial institutions can re-establish direct banking relationships with international banks, especially in the United States and Europe, such as Citi Bank and Barclays. Within the Ministry’s efforts to (5/14)
address distortions in the exchange rate, these banking relationships will allow the savings and remittances of Sudanese living abroad to be transferred directly to Sudan through official banking channels. This will contribute to building hard currency reserves and (6/14)
stabilizing the exchange rate in the short and medium terms.
Second, Sudan is now a major step closer to relieving its 60-billion-dollar debt burden, through the Highly-Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) initiative. Debt relief is considered one of the most important steps (7/14)
to accessing financing for major infrastructure projects that will be the basis for developing all other economic sectors such as agriculture, industry, trade, and energy and mining.
Third, one of the main benefits of this decision is the encouragement of foreign direct (8/14)
investment in Sudan. For example, as part of this process, the American Import and Export Bank will be able to provide guarantees to American investors from the private sector. In this regard, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning is pleased to announce that in (9/14)
the coming days, Sudan will receive a delegation of executives of the ten largest American agricultural companies to build investment opportunities, which will be followed by delegations from several other sectors.

Fourth, the US government has committed to facilitate (10/14)
the first installment that will support Sudan on its road to debt relief, which will open the door to more than $1.5 billion annually in additional assistance from the International Development Association (IDA). This is in addition to in-kind support that includes the (11/14)
provision of wheat and other commodities over four years.
As the Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning welcomes this major achievement, we have many steps ahead of us to implement all the reforms needed to achieve economic stability. These reforms will curb inflation, (12/14)
address distortions and stabilize the exchange rate, achieve sustainable growth, and finance the recently-signed peace agreements.

12/12: The earlier DC protest over the electoral college vote during clearly inspired Jan 6th. On Dec 12th, he tweeted: “Wow! Thousands of people forming in Washington (D.C.) for Stop the Steal. Didn’t know about this, but I’ll be seeing them! #MAGA.”


12/19: Trump announces the Jan. 6th event by tweeting, “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!” Immediately, insurrectionists begin to discuss the “Wild Protest.” Just 2 days later, this UK political analyst predicts the violence


12/26-27: Trump announces his participation on Twitter. On Dec. 29, the FBI sends out a nationwide bulletin warning legislatures about attacks https://t.co/Lgl4yk5aO1

How does a government put a legislation on 'hold'? Is there any constitutional mechanism for the executive to 'pause' a validly passed legislation? Genuine Koshan.


So a committee of 'wise men/women' selected by the SC will stand in judgement over the law passed by


Here is the thing - a law can be stayed based on usual methods, it can be held unconstitutional based on violation of the Constitution. There is no shortcut to this based on the say so of even a large number of people, merely because they are loud.


Tomorrow can all the income tax payers also gather up at whichever maidan and ask for repealing the income tax law? It hurts us and we can protest quite loudly.

How can a law be stayed or over-turned based on the nuisance value of the protestors? It is anarchy to allow that.

A lot is happening in Chicago. Mayor Lori Lightfoot Emanuel gave over 65% of CARES Act money to CPD. Today, the Office of Inspector General released their report on the uprisings where it is revealed how Lori is directly responsible for the brutality.

Page 55 documents how during the May 30th protests, CPD refused a person their seizure medication, watched them collapse and threatened another detainee with violence if they moved, presumably to assist the person having a seizure. Footage then records a cop threatening rape.


When Lori demanded the bridges be raised, it forced CDOT to call off duty employees. This was a move they were surprised to receive since it is rarely done. The raising of bridges was considered during the NATO protests in 2010 and was ultimately rejected as ‘ineffective’.


The raising of the bridges created the conditions where police battered people including lifting one person by his neck and throwing him to the ground before dragging him through horse manure.


In the same footage as the person having a seizure, CPD responds to another officer saying they should “shoot the occupants of the vehicle in the head”.

The U.S. national security and intelligence apparatus has said for years that climate change is the single greatest threat to the nation and world. While systems intrusion and hacking by foreign actors could potentially have replicated some of what happened in Texas, it didn't.

Climate change and failure to plan did that, along with incompetence, ineptitude, and sheer greed.

Not only was what happened in Texas the failure of governance and malfeasance, it was a complete failure of imagination, vision, and insight.

While some folks want to call it a "black swan event," the fact is what happened in Texas was not. Not only was it anticipated, it was predicted. The people in charge were told what the problems were, how to fix them and why. They were told what to expect if they didn't.

Not only was it a cyclical occurrence (the third time in just over 30 years), both the periodicity and severity are increasing and intensifying. Therefore, the choices for inaction paved the way for the occurrence. It was inevitable.

In this regard, conservative ideology, philosophy and fiscal beliefs are their own worse enemy. That's because conservatism's most natural response is at best to do nothing, at worst to resist. Therefore, the disaster was a multi-layered, time induced, mountain of self-sabotage.

Satyabhama, royal princess was very proud of herself. Rukmini was very humble, her devotion was pure to Shri Krishna.


One day, Rishi Narada( Kalahapriya) arrived in Dwaraka and met Sathyabhama. In between the conversation he hinted that Krishna exhibits affection more to Rukmini than her. Worried Sathyabhama asked what can should be done to gain Krishna's undivided attention.

Narada asked Satyabhama to make a vow, that she will hand over Krishna to him as a slave, if she cannot trade wealth equivalent to Krishna's weight. Narada thus convinces Sathyabhama that Krishna will admire her for sacrificing all her wealth for him.


Sathyabhama was sure that she have enough wealth to balance Krishna.

She went to Krishna and told about her vow to Narada. Krishna patiently listened to her and accepted the challenge. Satyabhama arranged to bring large scales to weigh and brought all her precious jewels.


Krishna patiently sat on one plate of the Scales (tula). Sathyabhama started piling up the gold, jewels on the other plate. She kept adding more and more wealth, but the pan with Krishna did not even budge. Even after keeping all her jewels the scale did not move a little

THE MEANING, SIGNIFICANCE AND HISTORY OF SWASTIK

The Swastik is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon. Swastik has been Sanatan Dharma’s symbol of auspiciousness – mangalya since time immemorial.


The name swastika comes from Sanskrit (Devanagari: स्वस्तिक, pronounced: swastik) &denotes “conducive to wellbeing or auspicious”.
The word Swastik has a definite etymological origin in Sanskrit. It is derived from the roots su – meaning “well or auspicious” & as meaning “being”.


"सु अस्ति येन तत स्वस्तिकं"
Swastik is de symbol through which everything auspicios occurs

Scholars believe word’s origin in Vedas,known as Swasti mantra;

This is a beautiful story of Guruvayurappan. Once there lived in Guruvayur a poor family. Kitta, his wife & kids were struggling for their daily needs. With only a coconut tree in house, he earned a living by selling coconuts.


Kitta was from a low caste family. He was a great devotee of Guruvayurappan. Everyday before going to work he always prayed infront of a picture of Guruvayurappan in his house. His only wish was to worship at Guruvayur & have annadanam in temple. But he was not allowed there


It was Utsavam time in Guruvayur. From far behind kitta and family worshipped Guruvayurappan. Annadanam was given daily and no one was left empty stomach. Only Kitta didn't receive. That night, it was only Kitta's family who was sleeping without food. After temple nada closed


Shri Krishna, dressed himself as a Brahmin went to temple Kitchen. He packed food and went directly to kitta's house. Reaching Kitta's house, Shri Krishna told he was sent by a cook of Guruvayur temple and gave them the food he packed. Kitta and family was very happy seeing food.


When Kitta finished his food, Brahmin asked it will be better if he get a tender coconut( karikku)to drink. Kitta climbed the tree and gave all coconuts to him. After having 1 tender coconut, the Brahmin asked to bring remaining coconuts to Guruvayur temple the next day.
