Good propaganda piece by #CNN
Being given diamonds is totally ok, it is "only tax evasion", not corruption, which is a "dirtier" word.

Equating a word with negative connotations with another less negative is a classic tactic of propagandists.
It draws a parallel between them.
Works the other way too.
Guilt by association, it can work with pictures side by side.
Works similar to this...

Starting the article with, "this thing you didn't know about" is a way to "suggest" to you that the following "bad thing" isn't as bad as you think.
Because if you "didn't know" about the first thing you should have doubt about this other thing "you thought you knew".
Cutting up the information about the story to "inject" an emotional state about something else, is to guide the emotion that was created by the first part of the story towards [x] and move it to something else [y].
re: all the crazy evil things Trump did, in middle of this story
Now the seeds of doubt have been planted and your emotion is redirected away from the subject of the story, we make the comparison between diamonds and tax, when you are in this emotional state the comparison is easier to suggest, this article is misdirection + programming.
You have to know how to do the trick to pull it off, this article is from a trained professional, they are hired for this,
The MS-Media are the enemy of the people.
These are not news articles, they are not informative, they are propaganda, psychological warfare.
Quoted in article.. "Hunter Biden disclosed the investigation himself" (9th Dec)

CNN knew about it and reached out on the 7th.
"The facts we do know are actually cause for celebration"

If there is one quote in this article that should clue you into this being propaganda, it is this emotionally manipulative quote.

More from Corruption

POTUS calling out the Justice Department as corrupt.

To be clear, I would distinguish between regular employees of the Justice Department and the decisions made officially. It's important to do this.

It is also worth noting that "federal agents can be sued for putting Muslim men on the no-fly list in alleged retaliation for their refusal to cooperate with counterterrorism

"The decision, a rare expansion of personal liability for law-enforcement misconduct, was one of four unanimous rulings the court issued Thursday"

"The court also found that there is no statute of limitations on when rape charges can be filed in the armed services"
