There is a book, not available very much, however, very good to adjudge particular periods during every weekday. Its name is Jyotish and Kalnirnay, authored by Shri Narayan Dutt Shrimali ji and it is in Hindi.

If you are able to get it, definitely buy it. And read it diligently.

In it, we will learn how our Rishi-Munis visualized Swastik in sky and why our Vedas inherently confirm the impact of Nakshatras upon us & how closely constellations have been mapped in Sanatan culture.

There are 27 Nakshatras in Vedic Jyotish. The 14th, which is Chitra Nakshatra, is the central one with 13 Nakshatras on either side. Even with the scheme of 28 Nakshatras (including Abhijit) mentioned in Vedas, the central point does not deviate much from Chitra.

Last Nakshatra Revati is almost 180° away from it. The line might not be straight, but for the purpose of visualization, a small variation would not bother. In this way, Sharavan Nakshatra is about 90° away from Chitra & Pushya Nakshatra is about 90° away from Revati.

So, Pushya, Chitra, Shravan and Revati Nakshatras constitute mutually right angles and can be visualized as the four cardinal points of Zodiac. If lines are drawn to connect them, a "+" would be formed. A Parikrama is followed, that is, it appears from left to right.

Swastik becomes naturally evident when four points are joined with cross lines and direction arrows.

But how does Swasti Vachan (video) in first tweet signify Swastik and pray for benevolent impact of Nakshatras upon us? Let us read some names mentioned in Swasti Vachan.

For hesitation, difficulty/delay in speaking, no control on speech, weak mind, no inclination in studies, carelessness, Kartikeya Stotra should be chanted 10 times in morning.

It should ideally be started on Pushya Nakshatra and continued till next instance of Pushya.

Parents can chant it on behalf of their kids too, but after Sankalp. This is very effective and time-tested remedy.

While January 1 just ensures a change of calendar and considered a new English year for administrative purposes, Chaitra Shukla Pratipada and Mesh Sankranti of Sun are the days which actually tell us the future.

Samvat begins when Chaitra Krishna Amavasya ends (Sun and Moon are at the same degree in Pisces). This Tithi is Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (CSP). The Lord of the day at Sunrise when CSP is operating is considered Raja (king) of the Samvat. It is called वर्षपति in Sanskrit.

Varshpati or The King of Samvat should be very strongly placed in the chart prepared at the start of CSP for the year to be good and promise growth. A poorly placed king, even if a Shubh Graha, reduces growth and doesn't deliver its benefic results.

Importance of Varshpati.

Raja (Varahpati/King) of the Samvat also decides Vaahan (vehicle) of the Samvat. Different vehicles set the tone of results of the year.

First 4 Pratipadas of Samvat also decide 4 Pillars (Stambhas) of the Samvat: Jal (water), Truna (grass), Vaayu (wind) & Anna (food grains).

Knowing Samvat vaas (Residence) also helps in predicting rainfall for the Samvat. In medieval and ancient periods, these were heavily used but now the habit to use them for rain predictions has reduced, however, they still form the basis for such predictions.

People finding combo of 4, 5 or more Bilwa leaves (Bel Patras) are very lucky. Offering such leaves to Mahadev yields immense blessings.

If you find such leaves already offered to Mahadev, wash them and offer again.

Feeding Birds is a very good habit astrologically:

Feeding black crows improves your relationship with Saturn.

Feeding pigeons improves your relationship with Mercury.

Making drinking water arrangement for birds improves your Moon.

Birds in general represent Mercury.

If an astrologer suggests you to wear the gemstone of a planet placed in 6th, 8th or 12th house of your chart then ask them the reason for it.

Only in specific scenarios should one wear gemstones of a badly placed planet.

First sleep with that gemstone under your pillow.
