🧵👇 A compilation of why I believe Do Kwon is, at some level, personally responsible for the UST machine and owes something to people who lost millions in savings.

Not all the blame falls on him but these factors should be factored in ethically, morally, and legally. 🧵👇

 1. Basis Cash

Basis Cash was an algorithmic stablecoin very similar to UST that failed due to the death spiral problem. In interviews, Do spoke about Basis Cash as if it was someone else's project. Disclosure to investors that your team's model has collapsed once before matters.
2. Intimate knowledge of the mechanics

"Do Kwon understood exactly why what he built would someday collapse. And then misled people into financial ruin." - @scott_lew_is

Dazzling displays of confidence in a system he knew to be fatally flawed led the layman astray.
3. Speed of personal cashouts

Throughout the last few months, Do cashed out hundreds of millions for "TFL operating expenses". Much of this went to his personal coffer. He encouraged Degenbox to bolster liquidity for the purpose of getting hard cash from LUNA and a little UST.
4. A stabilizing destabilizing BTC reserve

Do made the non-malicious but gravely incompetent move to pull out 3 billion dollars from the LUNA/UST machine into hard money all at once. This reduced liquidity and likely exacerbated the domino effect when everything toppled down.
5a. "Stay strong" - a dangerous lie that cost people millions

While the LUNA machine came crashing down, Do announced that a recovery plan was in progress to recover the UST peg and collateralize UST. The layman believed that there was a plan in place and many held on tight.
5b. While Do was telling the public to hold on, he plowed bitcoins into UST exit liquidity allowing whales with large tranches of UST to escape the market at high prices (>$0.75). Retail is now only able to get 8 cents on the dollar and his tweets misled during the crisis.
6. Post-crisis lack of responsibility

On Agora, Do proposed that everyone should pack up and move to a new chain while airdropping tokens to old holders in the form of restitution. He did not suggest refunds of his own volition nor did he commit a dollar of his own money.
7a. LFG lack of transparency

LFG's communications were very slow, and they raised more questions than they answered.

$2.7b+ disappeared into defending LUNA/UST. In a zero sum game this money had to go somewhere. Which VCs benefited from these trades, and were they TFL adjacent?
Was Do acting maliciously?

Yes and no. I don't believe Do knew any of this would happen so fast, but he knew it would happen eventually. I believe this collapse was indeed orchestrated by an outside attacker. But now the chickens have come home to roost.
Now that TFL has enriched themselves with hundreds of millions at the expense of LUNA/UST holders via the big 'stablecoin' promise, I believe there lies with them some level of responsibility to make people whole, especially laypeople with a worse understanding of the mechanism.
The rumours of manipulating retail so that big funds and potentially TFL themselves could exit the UST machine at higher prices before the complete collapse make me uneasy. I don't know how much truth there is in these claims but I suspect we will find out in the next few days.
The important thing now is how Do decides to move forward. Clearly making small UST holders whole is paramount. Will he step up and return TFL/personal wealth in any way, or will he continue shying away from responsibility? I think what happens next will determine good or evil.
Faith in DeFi has been shaken irreparably. In the incredibly unlikely scenario that TFL steps up to the plate and refunds the 99% from personal coffers, it would unleash a massive amount of trust back into the crypto/stablecoin space that has been previously lost.
It has been a dark week in crypto and sentiment has seldom been this low ever before, but if the right steps are taken, we could be walking toward's crypto's brightest and most hopeful day. This could bring back everything we have worked for.
The most important aspects of decentralization are trust & consensus. It's something we are sorely lacking right now, but with the right steps, we can bring it back with a vengeance.

Crypto is not going anywhere. We are here to stand and fight. TFL, are you with us or not?

Iqbal Khan secured his hold on Delhi under Muhammad Tughluq after Firoz Shah died.
Timur provided the required back-up to his grandson with 100000 men approx. Timur sacked and plundered all the cities coming in his way &later in October 1398 reunited with his grandson.

Eri Katha Ramar temple is located at Maduranthakam near Chengalpattu of Tamil Nadu. Beautiful Kodanda Ramar of about 8ft holding Ma Sita's hand & with Lakshmana. This temple story is connected with Sri Ramanujar.

It was here Periya Nambigal performed Pancha Samskaaram to Ramanujar under Magizham tree.
Sri Ramanujar was on his way from Kanchipuram to meet Sri Periya Nambigal at Sri Rangam to become his disciple. Sri Periya Nambigal also started towards Kanchipuram to meet Ramanujar.


They both met here at Madurantakam.
Small Mandapam where Ramanujar undertook Pancha Samskaaram is seen in the temple. Separate sannidhi is for Periya Nambigal & Ramanujar & this is the only temple where Ramanujar is seen as a Grahastha (married person) and not in Sanyasa kolam.


Story says about an incident which occurred during British rule. The Madurantakam lake bund was about to breach, due to heavy rain & village will be flooded if it happened. Dt collector was Cl. Lionel Blaze who took efforts to protect the bund & asked for the piles of stones


in the temple to protect it. But it was meant for Janakavalli ( sita) Thayar sannidhi which faced shortage of fund. Lionel Blaze prayed Sri Ramar to save the bund and if so he will provide fund to construct.

How to sell option?
Here let me explain through simple math.
Say BN at 30000
30000 straddle trading at combine premium 800 ( based on current volatility)
Put at 400
Call at 400
You don’t know direction. Sold both.

If move will not come than both will decrease gradually.

At day end it will come down to 720-740 if move will not come. Difference is your profit.

Now case 2:
Move started.
At one points combine premium will start increasing.
Say 810.
Exit immediately. No need to do adjustment.
Let market settle.

Sell again straddle once market settle.
Now repeat same thing.

Straddle selling webinar over.
Good luck.

One can keep SL 550 for both strike to escape from sudden movement.

1/ So here is a thread on how I turned $32,000 into $1.2m and back to pretty much zero (once taxes are paid).

Just note, I am not bitter or salty in any way at all, the last 2 years have been an amazing ride - travelled the world, been wealthy, been poor.

2/ Dec '16, my advertising agency folded, I had a little bit of money left and I put $32k into Bitcoin and Ether. As it started to go up I diversified into everything, Monero, Dash, this that, any crap - even Ripplecoin. Everything just kept going up.

3/ By March I think I had around $300k and $500k by the summer. I used to take 25% out but towards the end of the summer I got greedy and put it all back in and by December it was $1.2m.

4/ Thinking I was an absolute genius I decided to start a bunch of businesses. As silly as it sounds I had this goal of making $5m as I wanted to buy Bedford Town Football Club and get them in the league, and as Crypto was going up forever I needed 6 months.

5/ So:
- Trading (income 1)
- Podcast (income 2)
- Mining (income 3)
- Mining pool (income 4)
- Consulting (income 5)

A long but must read thread. Udaybhan Rathore and myth making in Maratha history: An analysis. This is the thread on Udaybhan Rathore, who he was and how over the time period, his life was portrayed in maratha chronicles and pseudo history. (1/n)

Udaybhan rathore was the head of Bhinai thikana (84 villages) in Ajmer. He was the direct descendant of the famous Rao Chandrasen, Raja of Marwar (4th generation) who resisted Akbar all his life and never made any alliance with mughals like Maharana Pratap. (2/n)

Later in 1783, Maharaja of Jodhpur gave title of Raja to Bhinai family for their military service. Bhinai family and their direct descendant Raja Sh Mayuraj Singh still lives in Ajmer. Anyway coming to Udaybhan Rathore and story of Tanaji. (3/n)

Jai Singh's march on Shivaji and treaty of Purandar (1665) is a well known episode to repeat here. After getting the hill forts from Shivaji under the treaty, Jai Singh didn't have enough man-power to man every one of the small forts because of his next (4/n)

campaign against Bijapur. Jai Singh personally took over a couple of important forts like Kondhana (Sinhgarh), Purandar etc. Others were given to some mughals or their fortification walls destroyed. Jai Singh died in 1667 near Burhanpur while enroute to the north. (5/n)
