 So my face isn’t genetically determined!?

Well it is, but only partly.

There are some big muscles that decide most of your facial appearance.

These muscles can be trained and grow just like the muscles in your arms.

Look at the difference it can make:
Weak facial muscles come from them not being used properly.

So before we go into which muscles to train and how, we start with using the muscles properly.

First of all you need to be breathing right.
1/ Breathing

For the right facial structure it is important to breathe correctly.

This is through the nose.

Breathing through the nose strengthens the muscles in your face.
When people breathe through their mouth their jaw is hanging and this weakens the muscles involved.

This causes your jaw to set back and your chin will look like this:
Besides the aesthetic benefits it is also healthier to nasal breathe.

With nose breathing your jawline will grow in the right position.

But there is more you can do to improve your jawline.
2/ Chewing

This is the most important excersice for having a strong facial structure.

The hunters and gathererers were chewing way more and way tougher foods than we do nowadays.

And it shows:
So what can we do to return?

Take time to chew your food.

Make sure to chew around 20 times.

Your saliva needs to be mixing with the food, you will notice.

Benefits are:

- Jawline increase
- Better for digestion
- Easier to take nutrients out of the food
Be conscious about chewing your food.

Chewing is really just a work out for your jaw.

3/ Mastic gum

Besides taking time to chew your food properly you can also chew mastic gum.

This is a 100% natural product.

They can be chewed on for growing your jawline muscle.

Just make sure to not take too much.

As with everything, too much is not good.

Taking too much may hurt your jaw joints.

4/ Mewing

Your tongue might not be in the right place.
It should be touching the roof of your mouth.

This technique is called mewing.

And yes, this makes a big difference.
Mewing is actually putting your tongue back in its natural position.

Ensure that your entire tongue is touching the roof of your mouth.

The back of your tongue may be difficult to get in the right position but you will get there.
Mewing has health benefits as well, it can help with or prevent:

- Tooth Grinding

5/ Neck

Last but not least we have the neck, which is also a big part of your facial appearance.

- Body posture

- Jaw tightness
Now there is no longer anything holding you back from making this change:
Start with:

'Treasure Gods' - Sangha Nidhi' and 'Padma Nidhi', Tirumala, Tirupati.

These are the two guards guarding the Wealth and Treasure of Lord Sri Venkateswara.

They are representatives of two treasures of Kubera, the God of Wealth.


One guard who is holding shangam (conch) on both the hands is known as Shanka Nidhi ('nidhi' means wealth).

On the other side, the guard who is holding Lotus flowers on both the hands is known as Padma nidhi.

Shangu is from the ocean which includes all types of wealth like pearls and corals.

Why shagam in his hand? Because shangam only gives the sound of 'omkaram'.

'Padmam' is the symbol of water sources in land like river, lakes, tanks etc. which is very important for all living beings.

As per the tradition, these guards are installed at the third entrance of the temple.

One enters the holy shrine after saluting the first protection threshold - Sankha Nidhi and Padma Nidhi.

India had a well developed education system centuries before the westerners arrived and called us uncivilized. Education was always given a great importance in Indian civilisation since times immemorial.


Ancient India had the Gurukulas and Ashramas as the epicentres of the knowledge and enlightenment. Bigger Gurukulas served as the centres of higher education called universities. Besides these universities, temples also emerged as the major learning centres.

Studying the Holy Scriptures, character building, personality development, responsibilities towards self,family and society,discipline and preservation of the ancient culture and heritage were the key embodiments of education.

This kind of education system made ancient India, a centre of knowledge all over the world. Many foreign students came to India for education and India was called the 'Vishwaguru'.
Takshshila and Nalanda were the two prominent universities of ancient India.


But were these only Universities of ancient India?The answer is 'No'.Let's learn about these gems of our education system that flourished across ancient India & be proud.

I worked in bank liquidity and treasury for the better part of the last decade, and there is one very interesting risk factor from the SVB collapse that I do not think we have ever witnessed before in modern finance, a 🧵:

First, some context. Following the 2008 financial crisis where a massive driver of stress was caused by low quality assets littering the balance sheets of massive institutions, the regulators sought to create a framework to ensure all banks were verifiably sound.

This meant forcing Federally registered banks to conform to capital and liquidity ratios. If they did not comply, they would not be allowed to issue dividends or buy back stocks, hurting the value of their enterprise.

There was the introduction of the concept of RWA, or risk weighted assets. A simple way to think of these ratios is, the riskier your asset base on a weighted basis, the more high quality capital (think cash) you would need to hold to stay in compliance.

Not only were banks required to regularly be in compliance with these ratios as a going concern, but needed to prove they could maintain certain limits when met with a time of stress across a number of incrementally adverse scenarios.
