The Indian media is of the most stereotypical and corrupt nature. The 2020 World Press Freedom Index by Press Without Borders ranks India 142 out of 180 countries..

We've no problems in surrendering the top ranking to Norway Finland, Denmark, Sweden (ranked 1, 2, 3 & 4) but it pains to see that even countries like Namibia, Ghana,Ethiopia, Kuwait, Nepal, Nigeria, Indonesia S.Lanka Oman Myanmar ranked way above us in fairness & transparency.

But, our media is happy raking in monies from their masters. It shamelessly promotes films and TV serials, and would shout praises to the overrated, mentally-retarded actors.
(3)
Media persons would mostly sit in their air-conditioned studios and would concoct stories out of ten-year old YouTube videos suitable for eight-year old not-so-bright kids. Who wants to watch a fake story about Kim Jong, or about a non-existent bhootiya haveli?
(4)
But, the film's rolls on & the media would then move to cover stories of the metro cities &ignore the 80/ people living outside of those big cities.

providing jobs to millions of people will not be considered worthy of a newsbyte.Majority of the young and disillusioned people in film industry is alcohol- and/or drug-addict. I am not sure if people in media also are drug users or not but they sympathise heavily

for their lords in the film industry. They just show these scantily cladded guys and girls, and their banal, oft-repeated, slapdash antics.
Howling and screaming bitches, sirens, and dogs tearing their vocal cords and our eardrums will vomit

There is such a nude & rude dance of wealth & bodies that even able-bodied good looking middle-class people suffer from depression thinking that they have nothing good in life.

What to think of the poor or the infirm?

This way, where is our society heading for?

1/ Here’s a list of conversational frameworks I’ve picked up that have been helpful.

Please add your own.

2/ The Magic Question: "What would need to be true for you

3/ On evaluating where someone’s head is at regarding a topic they are being wishy-washy about or delaying.

“Gun to the head—what would you decide now?”

“Fast forward 6 months after your sabbatical--how would you decide: what criteria is most important to you?”

4/ Other Q’s re: decisions:

“Putting aside a list of pros/cons, what’s the *one* reason you’re doing this?” “Why is that the most important reason?”

“What’s end-game here?”

“What does success look like in a world where you pick that path?”

5/ When listening, after empathizing, and wanting to help them make their own decisions without imposing your world view:

“What would the best version of yourself do”?
