This is LIBERTY of THOUGHT, EXPRESSION, BELIEF & FAITH that Constitution gives everyone. This Ordinance takes away this liberty & says 'aise kaise?!' [1/n]

 Before we go on, remember that conversion does not mean that one stops being an Indian citizen or that they become 'lesser' Indians for some reason. This law thinks that freedom of religion is antithetical to India's identity, which'd be funny if it weren't dangerous [2/n]
The Ordinance defines mass conversion as 'two or more people converting', which means if spouses convert together it is a crime. This is a picture of Babasaheb at Deekshabhoomi, leading conversion of a 'mass' from Hinduism to Buddhism. The Ordinance makes this a crime [3/n]
This law creates the concept of a 'convertor' which is an absurd idea. Many people convert to religion by independent study or by learning about other religions. This wrongly presumes that every conversion is a product of some conspiracy. [4/n]
Section 3 also prohibits anyone who "convinces" a person to convert. What if a person says that "I believe in Islam, for these specific reasons" & someone is convinced by these reasons? For anyone who respects independent thinking & free choice this cannot be a crime. [5/n]
Burden of proving that the conversion was ‘lawful’ lies on the person who has ‘caused’ the conversion. It doesn't matter if the person who is converting is saying that s/he did it willingly. Instead, it is assumed that someone has ‘caused’ it. We're adult citizens, not kids [6/n]
Faith is a question of conscience but the Ordinance makes it a public affair. A convert has to apply to Magistrate before converting, who'll conduct an inquiry. One's parents, siblings, cousins, in-laws & even adopted children can complain against conversion. [7/n]
Any member of public can 'object' to my conversion. What right does a random mob have to decide if my belief in God (or lack thereof) is 'lawful'? This is simply going to put people's lives at risk & invite harm upon them [8/n]
So far 79/86 people booked under this law are Muslims. 7 are Christians. 2/86 are minor girls. This law is not only targeting boys but their whole families.
-26 family members of a Muslim man were booked in Etah. The alleged conversion happened a week before the Ordinance [9/n]
Article 20(1) of Constitution prohibits punishing someone for a crime before a law on it was enacted. But UP Police does not care because the accused is a Muslim.
-In Mau, an FIR was lodged against 16 members of a family.
-In Sitapur, 14 family members were booked [10/n]
-A Muslim boy in Bijnor went out for a pizza with girl. The girl has repeatedly said that the boy never brought up conversion, even the father of the girl has clarified but was forced to complain against the boy. He is still in jail. [11/n]
In Kanth, a man had to spend 15 days in jail, his wife was sent to Nari Niketan & suffered a miscarriage due. The girl kept repeating that her conversion & marriage was voluntary but police arrested the boy because of a local Bajrang Dal complaint [12/n]
In two separate incidents, two Muslim women in Bareilly district got married to Hindu men after conversion and were given police security. This is the exact opposite of what happened when the men were Muslim. This is the real purpose of this lie called Love Jihad [13/n]
The Centre told Lok Sabha that no “case of love jihad had been reported by any central agency. Investigations by NIA, Karnataka CID, Kanpur SIT, DGP Kerala have said there's no evidence either. In Hadiya case SC said “parental love or concern cannot be allowed to.....[14/n]
...fluster the right of choice of an adult woman in choosing a man to whom she gets married” Marriage is between 2 people, it's a civil matter. Using criminal law on such issues is wrong. Many have been taken aback by this Ordinance. I'd said this when triple talaq law...[15/n]
...was enacted & I was mocked. Hope this Ordinance removes any blinders that people had on the targeted use of criminal law. My faith or my spouse are my choices. I should be the only one who should've control over it. This Ordinance wants to take over this control [n/n]

Lessor known facts of Sudarshan Chakra or Neela Chakra of Puri Jagannath Temple.

The metal wheel at the top of Bhagwan Jagannath temple is also known as Neela Chakra (Blue Wheel). The wheel is made of eight metals comprising of.. 1/n


iron, copper, zinc, mercury, lead, brass, silver & gold. It's circumferance is about 36 feet & it is so designed that there is a wheel within the wheel. The circumferance of the inner wheel is about 26 feet. Eight hubs join together the inner and the outer wheels. 2/n


There are decorative designs on the outer wheel. The thickness of the Neela Chakra is 2 inches.The wheel is said to be Bhagwan Vishnu's most powerful weapon, Sudarshana Chakra. Inside Jagannath temple, Lord Vishnu's wheel is also worshipped in the name of 'Sudarshana'. 3/n


But inside the temple Sudarshana is not in the shape of a wheel, but in the shape of a small wood pillar placed to the left of image of bhagwan Jagannath. It is believed that the same Sudarshana is also at the top of the temple and is known by the name of Neela Chakra. 4/n


There is a specific category of people among the temple sevaks to serve the Neela Chakra and they are known as Garuda Sevaka or Chunara Nejoga. The pilgrims hold these sevaks in high esteem because everyday at Sunset. 5/n

முதல்வரி: பிறவி என்பது முன்வினை விதையால் முளைப்பதோர் பெருமரம். அந்த ‘முன்வினை’ எங்கு ஆரம்பித்தது எனச் சொல்ல இயலாது. ஆனால் ‘அறியாமை’ ஒன்றே ஆசைக்கும்,, அச்சத்துக்கும் காரணம் என்பதால், அவையே வினைகளை விளைவிப்பன என்பதால், தொடர்ந்து வரும் பிறவிகளுக்கு, ‘அறியாமையே’ காரணம்

அறியாமைக்கு ஆரம்பம் கிடையாது. நமக்கு ஒரு பொருளைப் பற்றிய அறிவு எப்போதிருந்து இல்லை? அதைச் சொல்ல முடியாது. அதனாலேதான் முதலடியில், ஆரம்பமில்லாத அஞ்ஞானத்தை பிறவிகளுக்குக் காரணமாகச் சொல்லியது. ஆனால் அறியாமை, அறிவின் எழுச்சியால், அப்போதே முடிந்து விடும்.

Guruvayur Sri Krishna & Coconut with Horns.

We’ve all grown up listening to stories of Shri Krishna. This one is a famous story of Shri Krishna in Guruvayur Temple, also called Dakshina Dwaraka.


There lived a villager who planted coconut saplings and had promised that he would offer the 'first coconut' from each of his coconut trees to "Guruvayurappan". When the trees started to yield coconuts, he collected the first coconut from all the trees in a sack 👇


and set forth to Guruvayur.

On the way he was stopped by a robber who asked all the items in the sack. The villager told the robber that the coconuts in the sack belonged to Guruvayurappan and so he was unable to hand it over.

The robber with anger asked the villager "Is Guruvaurappan's coconut any different? Does it have horns ?".
Saying so the robber pulled the sack forcefully out of the villager's hand, and coconuts came out..👇


To their astonishment each and every coconut in the sack had horns! Even today, the coconut with horns are displayed in the temple for devotees to see.

The shrine is dedicated to Sri Vishnu along with Devi Lakshmi and Bhoodevi.
It is built in an area full of Champaka trees.
As champaka flowers are offered to Sri Vishnu here, it is called Champakadhama.


It is believed that King Janmejaya had sarpa-dosha. To get rid of it, he took bath in the nearby pond. He emerged with a golden body and sarpa-dosha was also removed. The pond is called Swarnamukhi and believed to have curative powers.
Sri Vishnu murti was consecrated by him.


It is also believed that this forest area was the Dandakaranya where Sri Ram stayed in exile.
Some believe that the original shrine was built by Pandavas.
The pushkarni/pond is emptied once a year so that the rock at the bottom (which has image of Anjaneya) may be worshipped.

I am reading through reams of late-1920s communist poetry and easily my favourite title so far is: "To a Lady who Rejected a Poem about Spring as a Petit-Bourgeois Deviation"

The last lines:
"So here's my hat into the air,
Three cheers for your amazing hair,
For coal mines, and for turbines, too,
For steel, the Comintern and you!"

A not exactly graceful (though possibly satirical) title: "Lines Disassociating Myself from Yessenin and Supporting the Otherwise Unfounded Legend that I am a Foremost Proletarian Writer"

An excerpt:
"Goodbye verses of Yessenin
Goodbye literary slop-
You are not the line of Lenin
You are not the line of WAPP

Never shall I moan a
simple lyric from the heart
I'll devote my new corona
to the proletarian art"

The poet was Joseph Freeman, who published much of his revolutionary verse in the New Masses, a stylish journal of the interwar American literary Left.

12 Azhwars (Alwars)

The 12 Azhwars, (the Main composers of Naalayira Divya Prabandam - 4000 poetic Rhymes) are known as Nityasuris or Divyasuris; those who reside permanently with the Lord in His Heavenly abode.


They have incarnated as Azhwars -Vasihnavite Saints - to propagate Bhakthi Marga, devotion to Lord Vishnu.

Alwars have dedicated their lives towards Lord Sriman Narayana and they led their life by praising Him.

These Alwars were born in various parts of our country but they were all united in a common subject, ie dedicating their lives and praising the Lord.

Poigai Alwar, Bhoodath Alwar and Pei Alwar are collectively called as "Mudhal Alwars" were found in the same period of time.

Thirumazhisai Alwar, who thought the Perumal as his friend and has sung Mangalasasanam on Perumal.

Thirumangai Alwar was a great king and later, changed his life to work for the Perumal and for his bhaktaas.

Thondaradippodi Alwar, who is also named as "Vipra Narayanar" led his life as the servant to the God and did service to Him by offering beautiful Garlands.

The best way to know if people like your product is NOT:

- Have people that saing "I'll pay"
- Have a lot of free users

The best way to know if they're actually pay for it.

The only thing that matters is your product providing a value, and you can't know this until people will pay money for it.

We can have a first signal of a product/market fit after the launch by check how many sales we've got in the first 24h. Some scale:

200+ This has a high potential.
100+: This has a potential.
50+: Some people need it.
10+: People almost don't need it.
0+: People don't need it.

This is for a single time payment product. For a subscription probably it should be less because people hate subscription.

And obviously, you should have a lot of traffic like 3-5k+.
