🌺Lalitaditya Muktapida: The Great Hindu King of Kashmir who missed our text books.🌺

Lalitaditya Muktapida was the great Hindu King of Kashmir who belonged to the Karkorta Dynasty and provided heroic resistance to the foreign invaders.

He remained undefeated throughout his reign & expanded his empire in all directions.
The famous book Rajatarangini which was written in 12th century had given us details of the golden age of Kashmir.
The rise of Karkota dynasty of Kashmir was the turning point in Indian history.

This great dynasty was founded by Durlabha-vardhana. Many eminent historians claim that this king was married to the daughter of Baladitya the last king of the Gonanda dynasty.
Lalitaditya ascended the throne about 724 CE and was the fifth ruler of the Karkota Dynasty.

He was a follower of expansionist policy and wanted to conquer the neighboring kingdoms.
He also defeated the powerful king of Kannauj i.e Yasovarman and emerged as a champion of north India.

Kalhana also mentioned that the king of Kashmir undertook a World Wide Campaign and reached the sea coast of east India (Kalinga).
Here the king of Gaur (Bengal)is believed to be the first king to accept the suzerainty and sent several elephants to the king of Kashmir in respect.

Mahabharata starts with the following verse:

🌺नारायणम नमसकृत्य
नरम चैव नरोत्तमम,
देविम सरस्वतिम चैव
ततो जयमुदिरायत।।🌺

“‘Jaya’ must be recited after having bowed in obeisance before Narayana and also Nara, the supreme human being, and also the goddess Sarasvati.”

Narayan, the supreme lord and Nara, the exalted human being, are together worshipped along with goddess Saraswati, before reciting the Epic. The Mahabharata identifies Krishna with Narayana and Arjuna with Nara in the divine pair.

The legend of Nara-Narayana is also told in the scripture Bhagavata Purana. Nara and Narayana were both considered as Gods and Rishis, who took birth as sons of Dharma through his wife Murti who was a daughter of Daksha.

Nara and Narayana travelled to the hermitage of Badri in their golden wagons and engaged in fierce austerities there.

Also, the Nara and Narayana peaks tower over Badrinath.

The Swaminarayan sect worships Nara-Narayana Deva and they are believed to reside at Badrikashram and to be the prime controllers of the destiny of all beings, depending on their karma.

What is wrong about Bharat becoming a Hindu Rashtra?

Bharatvarsh is a 5000 yrs old civilization &its the original homeland of Hindus,where about 95%of all Hindus in the world live. Its the birthplace of Sanatan Dharma then why should Bharat not recognise its true identity?

Why should Bharat not recognise its true identity of Hindu Rashtra?
Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world after Christianity & Islam but it's demographics are not the same. Xtianity and Islam are spread world wide, whereas Hinduism is geographically concentrated.

97% of all Hindus live in only India, Mauritius & Nepal. Out of it 95% of world's hindus live in India alone whereas only 1.6% of Muslims remain in Arabia. You can see that Muslims are spreading exponentially everywhere other than their birth place ie Arabia.

Wheras the left-liberals have no problem with 53 Muslim countries,out of which Islam is the official religion in 27 & 100 plus Xtian countries,out of which Xtianity is the official religion in 15,but when we talk about India becoming Hindu Rashtra,their secularism is endangered.

All faiths(Parsis, Jains, Sikhs ,Muslims,Xtians etc.)have flourished in India bcoz Hindus r not intolerant towards another religions.There is no concept of conversion in Hinduism.There r Xtian&Muslim nations in the world, who raise voice on Human rights&Muslim Xtian persecutions.

सूर्य के आगमन के साथ ही सारे फूल जमीन पर झर जाते हैं। अगले दिन यह फिर फूलों से सज जाता है। परिजात की उत्पत्ति के विषय में एक कथा है कि इसका जन्म समुद्र मंथन से हुआ था जिसे इंद्र ने स्वर्ग ले जाकर अपनी वाटिका में रोप दिया था।

मां लक्ष्मी को प्रसन्न करने के लिए भी परिजात के फूलों का प्रयोग किया जाता है। पुराणों में बताते हैं कि इसके वृक्ष को छूने भर से थकान मिनटों में गायब हो जाती है तथा शरीर पुन: स्फूर्ति प्राप्त कर लेता है। इस दैवीय वृक्ष से भगवान श्रीकृष्ण तथा रुक्मिणी की प्रेम कहानी भी जुड़ी है।

One of Nature's Many Miracles of Terminalia Elliptica,also called Terminalia Tormentosa is that it stores potable water in its bark.

The fruit is ovoid, 3 cm long, with five wings not extending beyond the fruit apex. Its leaves are useful as they are fed to silkworms (Antheraea paphia) which are the producers of the tassar silk, which is quite prominent as far as its commercial use is concerned.

What’s important is that the stem of the Indian Laurel has a water storing capability for the dry season which is often tapped and used as a source of potable water in summer by forest folk. This water is also thought to have medicinal properties and is a cure for stomach pain.

It is interesting to note that they used to cut the barks of Matti tree and avail about one or two liters of water emerging from it just like a pipe running out of it. This is the reason that this Matti tree is sometimes known as the ‘Water Making Matti Tree.’

The bark is fire resistant, flaky and brownish black in colour and represents crocodile skin that is why the name‘Crocodile bark tree’. The bark is used medicinally against diarrhoea. Oxalic acid can be extracted from it.

The Atman or the human consciousness goes through 108 stages on its journey post death.

The meaning is very simple: knowledge, power and wealth depend on the work with your hand.

कराग्रे = in the front of the hand i.e. fingers; वसते = lives;

लक्ष्मी = the divinity of prosperity (material and spiritual) [from the word lakShya = goal];

कर-मध्ये सरस्वती = in the middle of the palm; lives the divinity of learning, knowledge;

कर-मूले तू गोविंद: = in the wrist lives the universal guide of righteousness - Krishna.

प्रभाते कर दर्शनम = Every morning ones should looked at all these divine personalities...

...so that with them in your hand thus; you will enlightened day ahead.

For making us sit for some more time the second part of the prayer is added:

समुद्र वसने देवी पर्वत: स्थाना मंडले,
विष्णु पत्नी: नमस्तुभ्यम,
पादा स्पर्शम क्षमास्वमे।।🌺

The meaning is very simple: Oh ! Mother earth, where the mountains are part of your body and you are the wife of Prabhu Mahavishnu, May I perform my pranam to you?

उत्तराखंड में एक ऐसा रहस्यमय मंदिर है, जहां माता की मूर्ति दिन में तीन बार अपना स्वरूप बदलती है।

भारत में रहस्यमय और प्राचीन मंदिरों की कोई कमी नहीं है। एक ऐसा ही मंदिर उत्तराखंड के श्रीनगर से करीब 14 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है।

यहां हर दिन एक चमत्कार होता है, जिसे देखकर लोग हैरान हो जाते हैं। दरअसल,इस मंदिर में मौजूद माता की मूर्ति दिन में तीन बार अपना रूप बदलती है।मूर्ति सुबह में एक कन्या की तरह दिखती है,फिर दोपहर में युवती और शाम को एक बूढ़ी महिला की तरह नजर आती है।यह नजारा हैरान कर देने वाला होता है।

इस मंदिर को धारी देवी मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है। यह मंदिर झील के ठीक बीचों-बीच स्थित है। देवी काली को समर्पित इस मंदिर के बारे में मान्यता है कि यहां मौजूद मां धारी उत्तराखंड के चारधाम की रक्षा करती हैं। इस माता को पहाड़ों और तीर्थयात्रियों की रक्षक देवी माना जाता है।

एक पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, एक बार भीषण बाढ़ से मंदिर बह गया था। साथ ही साथ उसमें मौजूद माता की मूर्ति भी बह गई और वह धारो गांव के पास एक चट्टान से टकराकर रुक गई। कहते हैं कि उस मूर्ति से एक ईश्वरीय आवाज निकली, जिसने गांव वालों को उस जगह पर मूर्ति स्थापित करने का निर्देश दिया।

इसके बाद गांव वालों ने मिलकर वहां माता का मंदिर बना दिया। पुजारियों की मानें तो मंदिर में मां धारी की प्रतिमा द्वापर युग से ही स्थापित है।

कहते हैं कि मां धारी के मंदिर को साल 2013 में तोड़ दिया गया था और उनकी मूर्ति को उनके मूल स्थान से हटा दिया गया था,..

कार्तिक मास की पूर्णिमा को त्रिपुरारी पूर्णिमा भी कहते हैं। धर्म ग्रंथों के अनुसार, इसी दिन भगवान शिव ने तारकाक्ष, कमलाक्ष व विद्युन्माली के त्रिपुरों का नाश किया था। त्रिपुरों का नाश करने के कारण ही भगवान शिव का एक नाम त्रिपुरारी भी प्रसिद्ध है।

भगवान शिव के त्रिपुरारी कहलाने के पीछे एक बहुत ही रोचक कथा है। शिव पुराण के अनुसार जब भगवान शिव के पुत्र कार्तिकेय ने दैत्यराज तारकासुर का वध किया तो उसके तीन पुत्र तारकक्ष, विमलाकक्ष, तथा विद्युन्माली अपने पिता की मृत्यु पर बहुत दुखी हुए।

उन्होंने देवताओ और भगवान शिव से अपने पिता की मृत्यु का बदला लेने की ठानी तथा कठोर तपस्या के लिए ऊंचे पर्वतो पर चले गए। अपनी घोर तपस्या के बल पर उन्होंने ब्रह्मा जी को प्रसन्न किया और उनसे अमरता का वरदान माँगा। परन्तु ब्रह्मा जी ने कहा की मैं तुम्हे यह वरदान देने में असमर्थ हूँ

अतः मुझ से कोई अन्य वरदान मांग लो। तब तारकासुर के तीनो पुत्रो ने ब्रह्मा जी से कहा की आप हमारे लिए तीन पुरों का निर्माण करवाइये तथा इन पुरों के अंदर बैठे-बैठे हम पृथ्वी का भ्रमण आकाश मार्ग से करते रहें। जब एक हजार साल बाद यह पुर एक दूसरे के पीछे एक ही दिशा में आयें...

...उस समय जो कोई देवता इन त्रिपुरों को केवल एक ही बाण में नष्ट कर दे वही हमारी मृत्यु का कारण बने।

ब्रह्माजी ने तीनो को यह वरदान दे दिया व एक मयदानव को प्रकट किया। ब्रह्माजी ने मयदानव से तीन पुरों का निर्माण करवाया जिनमे पहला सोने का दूसरा चांदी का व तीसरा लोहे का था।

Govardhan Pooja is also called Annakut (meaning a heap of grain) and is celebrated as the day Sri Krishn defeated Indradev by lifting the Govardhan Parbat. It is the fourth day of Deepawali, the Hindu festival of lights.

According to the legends, Bhagwan Krishn taught people to worship the Supreme Controller of nature, God, specifically Govardhan, as Govardhan is a manifestation of Sri Krishn himself, and to stop worshiping the God of Rains, Indradev.

For Annakut, a mountain of food, is decorated symbolizing Govardhan Parbat said to be lifted by Sri Krishn to save the people from the wrath of Indradev, the God in charge of rain and thunder.

In Haryana, there is a tradition of building cow dung hillocks, which symbolize the Govardhan Parbat, the mountain which was once lifted by Bhagwan Krishn. After making such hillocks people decorate them with flowers and then worship them.

They move in a circle all round the cow dung hillocks and offer prayers to Govardhan.
Govardhan pooja forms an important part of the Deepawali celebration. In Maharashtra,it is celebrated as Padva or Bali Pratipada.The day commemorates King Bali.

Here's his story.🌺

The Ghznavid invasions had crippled India like no other invasion ever before. Mahmud of Ghzni was perhaps one of the first invaders to actually dent the strong Indian defences after alexander the great.

But ultimately he couldn’t follow up with the empire as his kingdom stopped at the north western region of India.

His nephew, Salar Masud would go on to continue his dream of raiding and plundering India every single year.

As a young upstart, Salar showed ferocity just like his uncle while his martial fervour eclipsed even that of his warrior ancestors.

At a young age of 16 he led his army to capture various parts of northern India including Ajmer and Delhi by the help of the Ghaznavid Army.

His eastward expansion continued till he reached the region of Bahraich.

Throughout his journey, the bardic tales states that he plundered temples and monasteries, showing to the populace how weak their local rulers were.

But this king of Shravastavi was different.

Suheldev was the valiant son of Mordhwaj and a very just ruler.

He was the one who united all the northern kingdoms under one rule to oppose the oncoming assault.

Basically,Vastu Shastra is the literal part of Vastu Vidya–the wider knowledge about building construction & design scheme models from earliest history.

It is not something that deals with permanent procedures and plans but instead defines a theory of various designs, the pool of thoughts and perceptions, with different types of layout, figures, and sketches.

These ideas are mostly the collections of the internal decor,building outlook, gardening, and house plan.
The term Vastu is composed of two Sanskrit words ‘Vastu’ and ‘Shastra’where Vastu means house, habitation, building on land or ground and Shastra means teaching or doctrine.

Hence, Vastu Shastra is the doctrine of designing houses.
Vastu Shastra is an old scientific theory that is over 5000 years old. The texts on Vastu Shastra can be found back in 1500-1000 BCE.

As the name suggests, MINIATURE PAINTINGS are colorful handmade paintings very small in size. One of the outstanding features of these paintings is the intricate brushwork which contributes to their unique identity.

The colors used in the paintings are derived from various natural sources like vegetables, indigo, precious stones, gold and silver. While artists all around the world convey their respective theme through their paintings, the most common theme used in the miniature..

..paintings of India comprises of the Ragas or a pattern of musical notes, and religious and mythological stories. Miniature paintings are made on a very small scale especially for books or albums. These are executed on materials, such as paper and cloth.

The Palas of Bengal are considered the pioneers of miniature painting in India. The tradition of miniature paintings was further taken forward by the artists of various Rajasthani schools of painting, including the Kishangarh, Bundi Jaipur, Mewar and Marwar.

Natural stone colours are used in a paper-based “wasli” for the creation of these paintings. The miniature paintings have developed into several distinct schools of miniature like Mughal, Rajasthan, Deccan, Kangra, Malwa, Pahadi, etc.

Varanasi means the holy land between the Varuna and Assi tributaries of the Ganga. Varuna, still flowing in northern Varanasi, and Assi, today a small stream in the southern part of the city, near Assi Ghat. There are plans to revive the Assi river.

Assi Ghat is one of the most popular ghats in Varanasi, visited regularly by both tourists and locals. It is located in the southern part of the holy city of Varanasi at the confluence of Ganga and Assi rivers.

This ghat finds a mention in various Hindu scriptures like Kurma Purana, Matsya Purana, Padma Purana and Agni Purana.

According to the ancient history, it is said that the Goddess Durga had thrown her sword in Assi River after killing the demon Shumbha-Nishumbha.

That’s why the place has been named as Assi Ghat as it is located at the union of the River Ganga and Assi River.

Assi ghat is described in Kashi Khand as Assi “Saimbeda Tirtha” means the one who gets a dip here once in his life will get Punya of all the Tirtha's.

It is filled with various types of unexplainable & mysterious things.
In ancient times,various saints, after doing years of meditation, yog saadhna & hard work found the secrets hidden in Vedas about 1000 yrs ago.

The inventions our great sages did were later came to be known as modern science. Some of the saints came out with such amazing inventions that shocked the Kings of those times as well.

Siddharshis were a type of Saints in ancient India who were said to have had many powers and achieved a God-like state through specific secret practices that were known only to them.

These powers were spanned from controlling time and space, to transforming the body, manipulating matter at the molecular level and achieving immortality.

The Siddharshi were the followers of Bhagwan Shiv and according to different texts there were 18 of them.

Their teachings and findings were written in the form of poems in the Tamil language.

There is a debate as to who was the first Siddharshi.
Sone legends talk about Sri Pathanjali but the prevailing tradition refers to Agasthya as the first Siddharshi.

Even the Slav people who live in Eastern and Central Europe, the Balkans,Central Asia and North Asia worshipped Hindu Gods.

Even the Russians,Poles,Czechs, Serbs,Ukrainians,Belarusians, Bulgarians, Slovaks in Europe worshipped Hindu Deities.

पौराणिक काल की बात है | भगवान श्री गणेश गंगा के तट पर भगवान विष्णु के ध्यान में मग्न थे | गले में सुन्दर माला , शरीर पर चन्दन लिपटा हुआ था और वे रत्न जडित सिंहासन पर विराजित थे | उनके मुख पर करोडों सूर्यों का तेज चमक रहा था |

इस तेज को धर्मात्मज की युवा कन्या तुलसी ने देखा और वे पूरी तरह गणेश जी पर मोहित हो गयी | तुलसी स्वयं भी भगवान विष्णु की परम भक्त थी| उन्हें लगा की यह मोहित करने वाले दर्शन हरि की इच्छा से ही हुए हैं | उसने गणेश से विवाह करने की इच्छा प्रकट की |

भगवान गणेश ने कहा कि वह ब्रम्हचर्य जीवन व्यतीत कर रहे हैं और विवाह के बारे में अभी बिलकुल नहीं सोच सकते | विवाह करने से उनके जीवन में ध्यान और तप में कमी आ सकती है | इस तरह सीधे सीधे शब्दों में गणेश ने तुलसी के विवाह प्रस्ताव को ठुकरा दिया |

धर्मात्मज पुत्री तुलसी यह सहन नही कर सकी और उन्होंने क्रोध में आकर उमापुत्र गजानंद को श्राप दे दिया की उनकी शादी तो जरुर होगी और वो भी उनकी इच्छा के विरुद्ध ।

ऐसे वचन सुनकर गणेशजी भी क्रोधित हो उठे।गणेश जी ने उन्हें श्राप दे दिया कि तेरा विवाह एक असुर शंखचूड़ जलंधर से होगा।

राक्षस से विवाह का श्राप सुनकर तुलसी विलाप करने लगी और गणेश जी से माफी मागी। दया के सागर भगवान गणेश ने उन्हें माफ कर दिया पर कहा कि मैं श्राप वापस तो नहीं ले सकता पर मैं तुम्हें एक वरदान देता हूँ।

नेहरू को किताब लिखनी थी तो ब्रिटिश सरकार ने जेल में पुस्तकालय बनवा दिया। वीर सावरकर जी ने काल कोठरी की दीवारों पर नाखून और किलों से कितनी कविताएं लिखीं, कोई किताब छपी?
रोज 7 किलो तेल कोल्हू से निकाला और न जाने कितनी ही यातनाएं सही।
पर गुणगान तो सिर्फ नेहरू का हुआ।
