Thread: Message to President Trump. @realDonaldTrump “The time is now near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their houses and farms are to be pillaged and ..

This tweet may slightly be off tangent and there may be outage; that doesn't mean one can't express what one feels about issue(s).. I've divided it into 3 parts - part 1 is about the outage at twitter - on them blocking Donald Trump- of these I'm astonished at some big handles ..

2. How many of them have read the rules/regulations as expressed by twitter - whether it's legally tenable to the law of the land is a different question - Trump himself , when his personal account got suspended used the id of Potus - all his noise could've been made in that id .

He fell into the trap well laid by the opposition , because he used his emotional quotient rather than his wisdom. Period. There's no reason claiming otherwise or using it as a comparative narrative - Eos; moreover, the unity among luteyns and the left , obnoxious they're, the RW

lacks it - RW fights among themselves and more the popular you're (I'm sticking to that definition by twitter standards), to me they're just another user of SM. The kind of reporting they do , and the alogrithm built in, suits them, do the RW ever done that on a single account ?

NO being the answer - why are we cribbing ? Part 2 is even more sensitive - look at the peacefuls, look at the white coats, do the warring Hindus - do we have the unity - we don't - when the cause is common, whether it be temples or any social issue, including the #DikkiSonas,

How long until this the average Mar-a-Lago guest I wonder?

Once toxic trump starts waking up to empty halls and a lonely 40ft buffet every morning he'll have to pay the mortgage somehow.

Let's take a journey into the future shall we?

I present to you, MAGA-Lago:
1/

Of course the neighborhood will have a bit more traffic, the faithful will have a yearly hajj to bask in the warm glow of their #OrangeGodEmperor.

"Did you see all my fans in the boats? Nobody's ever seen anything like it before," he'd say to his frustrated neighbors.
2/

Holidays are a bit different, far more interactive, but the Bud Light flows freely from gold plated statues and there's no shortage of objects to burn.

Cries of "Watch this!!" abound, often the last words of the speaker.
3/

The golf course has been repurposed to allow for more specialized "carts." The annual Mud Pit Jamboree features free towing, plenty of rapidly descending pistol rounds, eighteen haired bare chests and more wet tee shirts then you can shake a stick at.

Yee-haw.
4/

Earl has taken over the buffet, what are those thin pancakes anyway? It's like eating paper.

Nothing but shot from a tree Florida boar here, grilled, boiled, smoked and roasted. Hell, on a stick if you want it.

Well and grits. Earl's boar grits are the finest in Florida.

The media spent years pretending Trump could magically pardon his co-conspirators, consequence-free, at any time, even though nothing works that way. Now the media is pretending the GOP can magically filibuster, consequence-free, at any time. Nothing works that way. It gets old.

Every media pundit understands that there are always consequences to every move in politics. Yet they always frame the Republicans as being able to magically do anything they want, with no consequences, to try to scare/enrage you into staying tuned in.

"But the Republicans are indeed getting away with it all..." No they're not. They lost the Senate, the House, and the presidency. Their top leaders in the House are at each others' throats. They're out of power, adrift, losing donors. These are the consequences for their antics.

The catch is, it's just not the consequences you want. Because even as TV pundits convinced you that republicans were magically winning, liberal Twitter pundits convinced you that republicans could be defeated by imaginary simplistic magic wand solutions.

So now the pundits have spun you around to where you don't even realize your side won the election, you don't realize the Democrats are going be able to pass everything they want to pass, and you're pissed at Democratic leaders for imaginary reasons.

When Trump knowingly accepted Russian help and obstructed the doj investigation and lied to the American people about who attacked our elections or extorting Ukraine the republicans didn't provide a valid counter argument

they asked "who unmasked?" or leaked or whistleblew

when Trump gave his acting officials and son-in-law and cabinet members security clearances that they didn't get cleared for Republicans look the other way

When he sided with Putin in Helsinki Republicans were in Moscow in secret meetings they voted not to release the transcript

When handed election security bills the Republicans voted against all but one of them which would strengthen funding for the machines that McConnell uses in his state

They helped Trump rail against the special counsel investigation into interference in our election

When a federal judge said Bill Barr had misrepresented that report they ignored it

When their own senate Intel report came out and said that Trump Associates were actively working to disseminate Russian misinformation into our public discourse during the election

And Ratcliffe said he wouldn't breathe the Intel committee on the interference

GOP ignored it.
