A SHORT EXHORTATION

Theme- ...God, you "Deceived" me -Prophet Jeremiah

Jeremiah accused God of deceiving him, yes, you read right. No he did not, you might say, o yes he sure did πŸ™†πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜±
πŸ“Œ
Jeremiah 20:7a KJV
O Lord, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived...

2.
Incidentally, he was in the "WILL OF GOD" doing exactly what God told him to do. He was speaking the mind of God, yet, he was arrested, thoroughly lashed and thrown in solitary confinement.

"What's going on here? " he asked.
"This can't be happening to me, I'm in the will of
3.
God for crying out loud" yada, yada, yada

How can a "whole Prophet" accuse God of deceiving him, we may ask. Well, he did.

Things were not going the way he thought they would. He had expected the hearers of God's message to be trembling with fear at the godly warning of
4.
impending doom he was dishing out.

He was largely frustrated and disappointed. "Lord, this must be a joke, and if it is, it ain't funny at all..."

You see, when one is in this "precarious state," all manner of stuffs may begin to manifest. While some will pray for strength
5.
to go on to the end, others may be nagging and complaining, and sadly, many fall into the latter category.

Well, we must understand that even in the will of God, unpleasant things do happen.

Even in the will of God, we can grow weary, tired, disappointed, discouraged,
6.
disillusioned and the likes.

Strong and contrary winds will surely blow in our direction in order to knock us off or knock us down and sometimes too, browbeat us to submission.

You recall that our Lord Jesus Christ, though in the will of God, suffered tremendously and even
7.
became weary in the garden of Gethsemane.

Walking and working in the will of God is never a piece of cake (know this and know peace) it is full of the Good, the Bad and the very Ugly.

Jeremiah said in V8

Jeremiah 20:8.KJV
For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the Lord was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.

He was insulted, humiliated daily until the whole thing became like a reproach unto him. At a time, he was even
9.
afraid for his own life. He was like, "what have I gotten myself into, or what has God gotten me into?

V10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be
10.
enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

In all these, something dramatic happen.

There is no better way of learning the craft of product, or proving your potential to employers, than just doing it.

You do not need anybody's permission. We don't have diplomas, nor doctorates. We can barely agree on a single standard of what a Product Manager is supposed to do.

But – there is at least one blindingly obvious industry consensus – a Product Manager makes Products.

And they don't need to be kept at the exact right temperature, given endless resource, or carefully protected in order to do this.

They find their own way.
