One question that I often get is which of the two: #HINDUNILVR or #ITC would be a better Investment bet. While their individual charts are clear themselves, another approach is ratio chart. FMCG sector is really strong since few days now. Like the bottom in MArch 2020 where pharma and fmcg rallied and lead the market, we have IT and FMCG as leaders now.

But would u really consider betting on HUL (medium term) recent breakout considering its structure ????

Decade old move appears to have ended here. If last cycle is any indication, then 61.8% retracement can't be ruled out. (around 600)

Market is falling out with consumer facing businesses, be it HDFC Bank (consumer finance) or HUL (Consumer goods).
