 As everyone is aware, Krishna is Lord Vishnu's eighth manifestation. Lord Krishna told the Pandavas five predictions about the Kali Yuga at the time of the Mahabharata War.
The Pandava was once instructed by Krishna to travel in five different directions and return with any strange sights so that he could explain how the signs of the kali yuga were there.

What Yudhisthira saw?

To his surprise, Yudhisthira spotted an elephant with two trunks.
According to Krishna, the elephant with two trunks represented the kings of the Kali Yuga. They would say one thing and do another, taking advantage of people in both ways.
What Arjuna saw?

Arjuna observed a bird consuming an animal's flesh while also having Vedic Mantras engraved on its wings. He was astounded to see a divine bird perform such a deed.
According to Krishna, priests in the Kali Yuga will undoubtedly perform religious responsibilities and act in a highly knowledgeable manner. On the other hand, they would crave worldly pleasures and take advantage of the followers.
People would constantly want other people to pass away so they can inherit their fortune. No matter how large a human becomes, he will always have a desire for the possessions of other creatures.
What Bhima Saw?

A cow that was about to give birth was spotted by Bhima. The cow began licking the calf shortly after giving delivery. To his surprise, the cow continued to lick the calf even after it was clean.
People made a considerable effort to take the calf from its mother, but by that point it had suffered serious injuries.
According to Krishna, it represents how much people will love children throughout the Kali Yuga. that love itself will obliterate the children's potential, life goals, and future. Their spiritual lives would be entirely disregarded.
What Shadeva Saw?

Sahadeva observed that there were four wells on either side of the central well. The four wells were filled to the brim with water, seemingly unable to contain it, but the one in the middle was absolutely dry. The scene astounded him.
The empty well represents that the poor shall coexist with the wealthy, according to Lord Shri Krishna. The wealthy will have enormous wealth and prosperity that will keep growing and overflowing, but they will not give the poor people even a single cent.
They won't give it to those in need or who are suffering; instead, they will waste the money on themselves.
What Nakula Saw?

Nakula witnessed a large boulder tumbling from a hill. It was halted by a small plant that was in its path since it could not have been stopped by the large trees or other rocks on the way down. The scene astounded him.
According to Lord Shri Krishna, the falling rock represented how humans will live throughout the Kali Yuga. People will lose their integrity if they continue to demolish and smash everything in their path to prosperity.
However, they would be unable to find contentment or peace of mind by anything other than reciting the Lord's tiny but all-pervasive name.
They can hold them out of the room with just one call to God's name.

Saptapadi

The most essential rite (Sanskrit: rītī) of a Hindu marriage ceremony is Saptapadi (English: seven steps, saptapadī). Saptapadi is a Sanskrit term that means "seven steps." The wedded couple walks seven steps after tying the Mangalsutra, which is known as Saptapadi.


The couple legally becomes husband and wife after the seventh step.
Hindu wedding rituals: During Saath Phere, the bride and groom exchange their marital vows while circumambulating (walking around) the sacred fire seven times.


This is because the bride and groom exchange marriage vows and hope for a happy married life together.

1. The first marriage vow, out of seven, is a petition to the Lord for nutrition and nourishment for the Hindu bride and groom.


2. Hindu Bride and Groom: The second marriage promise is for strength in sickness, health, good times, and terrible times.

3. For the Hindu Bride and Groom - The third marriage promise is for the Hindu bride and groom's prosperity.

4. For Hindu Bride and Groom - The fourth pledge is to stand by their families in good times and bad.

Pandharpur is my maternal home, that is on the banks of River Bheema. (Maher = maternal home)

Maher in Marathi means maternal home! In Indian household, among women, the maternal home always has a special place. For every woman, even after decades of marriage and having lived in the extended family, maternal home (mother’s home) always remains a special place for her.

The reasons are very many but no place fills the place of a maternal home.

Sant Eknath, in this Abhang, describes Pandharpur as his maternal house – a very special place to him in his life, a place he always wishes to go, where he can go and stay at his own wish,

spend time at his own will and yet none complains. He gets all the liberty to do at this place. It is a place of respite for him. Or in another sense, Pandharpur is his real home.

There are no universal rules for choosing murtis followed by all Hindus, but there are many guidelines followed by various Hindu communities.

As for which Devata to choose a murti of, typically a Hindu will select their Ishta Devata or personal favorite, most beloved Deity. This murti will be centermost on the shrine, and the most elaborate.


In addition, many Hindus add extra murtis to represent more of the pantheon in their puja room. Usually at least Ganesha is given a place, even if he is not the Ishta Devata.

This ubiquity in most puja rooms makes Ganesha the most popular Hindu Devata, even though he is not the most common Ishta Devata (an honor that goes to his father Shiva, followed by Hanuman).

Sushruta—Father of Surgery

By the sixth century BC, Sushruta, a surgeon, and Ayurvedic teacher, was thriving in the Indian city of Kashi.

In Kashi, where he worked as a surgeon, Sushruta studied medicine and discovered the causes and cures for various illnesses. He is well known for his novel approaches to rhinoplasty, cataract surgery's extracapsular lens extraction, anal surgery, and dental surgery.


However, little is known about his vivid descriptions of obesity, angina, and diabetes (madhumeha), among other conditions (medoroga).

He studied under Dhanwantari, the revered Lord god of the Indian medical system known as Ayurveda (the science of life). He was revealed to be Visvamitra, a Vedic sage.

He is credited for compiling the Vedic Sanskrit medical text Sushruta Samhita. The eight Ayurvedic medical branches are discussed in the Sushruta Samhita. Six sections and 184 chapters make up the work.

According to him,
whenever the market is bearish,
it won’t be able to cross 60,
and whenever in a bullish trend,
it won’t be able to cross 40.

So, instead of the 70-30 Relative Strength Index,
we will use the 60-40 range for the RSI indicator for this strategy.

When the
Monthly and Weekly RSI>60,
& when the RSI takes support at 40 in the daily chart,
it may bounce back and most probably it will not go below 40.

If a bullish candle is formed at the 40 RSI level,
the prices may bounce back, and one can enter the stock.

The stoploss can be placed at the low of that bullish candlestick,
and the target can be the 60 RSI level.

When the
Monthly and Weekly RSI<40,
& when the RSI takes resistance at 60 in the daily chart,
it may bounce back and most probably it will not go above 60

If a bearish candle is formed at the 60 RSI level,
the prices may bounce back from there, & 1 can enter the stock 4 shorting

The stoploss can be placed at the high of that bearish candlestick, and the target can be the 40 RSI levels.

Krishna and the False Vasudeva

Paundraka Vasudeva was a King mentioned in Bhagavatha Purana. He was friend of Jarasandha, the king of Magadha. He believed that he is Vasudeva Krishna.
Once Paundraka Vasudeva received a letter from Shishupala, stating that he wanted


protection from Krishna, because it was Rukmini's wedding and Shishupala thought Krishna would take away Rukmini.

Paundraka Vasudeva agreed and went to Vidarbha, the Kingdom of Shishupala, but failed to provide protection as Krishna took Rukmini away. Paundraka Vasudeva was


feeling sad. His Minister's cheered him.
They said that Paundraka Vasudeva was the real Vasudeva and Krishna is a cheater. Everyone started to believe this and soon Paundraka Vasudeva soon started to taunt Krishna by saying that Krishna was a cheater.
Paundraka Vasudeva then


challenged Krishna to a war and Krishna said that he would give Paundraka his Chakra and Gadha. Paundraka suspected some foul play and went to King of Kashi for his protection. In battlefield, Krishna came in front of Paundraka, and said that he would throw his Chakra and Gadha


to him. But, Krishna's throw was perfect that the Gadha hurled him to the Ground and the Chakra killed him.
Krishna soon killed king of Kashi with an arrow and his head went flying to Kashi.
Thus Victorious Krishna was recieved by people of Dwaraka.

A thread on how absurd the UK is on transgender issues and how the UK got so transphobic

In 2015 Parliament held an inquiry looking into the state of Transgender equality. Trans people of all stripes outlined many different problems across many, many different areas.

As a result Parliament created a list of recommendations including legal recognition for non binary people, gender recognition act reform, allowing 16 year olds to change their legal gender and reform of NHS gender identity services.

The government under Theresa May ignored everything that was recommended except for Gender recognition act reform. This act came into law in 2003 and gave trans men and women (but not non-binary people) the ability to legally change their gender on their birth certificates.

The process at that time to change your birth certificate under the GRA was to make an application to a panel of cisgender people who would decide if you were sufficiently trans based on your payslips, photo ID and bank statements. You would not get the option to speak to them.

(Also this process cost £140 which is just a tax on being trans)

It is said that the one who bears the dust thrown from the hoof of Gaumata on his head, as if taking a bath in the water of the teerth sthalam and getting rid of all sins.


Ved and all other Hindu scriptures venerate the cow. The Vedic dictionary, Nighantu, gives amongst other synonyms of 'Gau' [ or cow] the words 'Aghnya', 'Ahi', and 'Aditi'.

Yaska the vedic decoder and commentator on Nighantu, defines these as-

Aghnya —— the one that ought not to be killed
Ahi —— the one that must not be slaughtered.
Aditi —— the one that ought not to be cut into pieces.

These three names of cow signify that this is an animal which should not to be put to tortures. These words appear frequently throughout the Veda in context of the cow.

But in due course the falsehood of killing cows spread far and wide and they became even more deep rooted when western scholars with their half baked knowledge of Sanskrit transliterated these interpretations of commentaries of Sayanacharya ,
