To those who have asked me, sincerely, how President Trump's "Do not be afraid of Covid" differs from Jesus's "Be not afraid," some thoughts:

First, Jesus often told his followers "Be not afraid." In fact, that phrase brackets his earthly life. I.e., the Angel Gabriel...

God what a lovely sentence to type. I might do it again.

Lovely. I didn't know fingers on keys could feel that good.

Is there a more beautiful sentence? I suspect not.

Much like the Gulf War, Trump's presidency never happened. Yes, there were soldiers in Kuwait, and there was a man named Donald Trump in the white house, but there was never a war, and there was never a presidency.

Trumpism was a bubble, and on Wednesday, it popped. In 2016, it felt like the beginning of a new American nationalism. Without Trump, that "movement" dies. Will those embers merely fade, or can the fire be rekindled?

If you want to transform the world, or your country, you cannot fuel your movement on discontent, nor on reasonableness. No, transformation can only be built on a foundation of extravagant hope

Gold toilets aside, Trump never had extravagance, in fact he had no content at all. He was the first fully post-modern president; what he did was so filtered through media that there's no effective difference between what happened and what the media says happened

We projected our dreams onto Donald Trump. A successful mass movement requires belief in an infallible leader or an irresistible doctrine. There is no mass movement without a little delusion (we call it a little delusion) "Reasonable" people can't effect big change

The rally tonight was brilliant. Did you catch what was happening?

Essentially, Trump laid down a million tons of pressure on the Senators, the Gov, the SoS, the Minion, and anyone else involved in the fraud.

But, he's also given them a choice.

Let me explain.

Trump comes out and immediately starts praising the Senators and talking about the "socialists taking over the country if we don't elect them", yadda yadda yadda...

He repeats all the same talking points the GOP has been flooding the media with these last weeks.

But if you think about it, these talking points are moot. Trump is playing the game.

Do you really think the good guys would allow the fate of the country and WTP to rest on the outcome of runoff election for 2 feckless, spineless, corrupt GOP RINO Senators?

Not at all.

Remember: the goods guys caught them. They captured all the evidence they ever needed.

At any time, Trump can invoke the Insurrection Act, layout the case and clean this all out. Military planning.

But it's not time for that yet.

So what does Trump do instead?

He comes to GA for a rally, gets all his followers fired up, tells them they should all vote in the runoff, and smiles at the Senators.

He then proceeds to list out all the unsealed evidence of voter fraud in GA on camera with millions watching
