Kari Lake supporter Ethan Schmidt is facing up to 6 months in jail for returning to harass a store that requires masks because they sell wigs to cancer patients. At the time, Ethan was declaring he “loves harassing cancer patients.”

Ethan: “Martin Luther King, Jr is on my side.”

Ethan, who appears to have shaved his mustache for his hearing, is pushing for a trial. Ethan believes he, and the “America First” Republican candidates, are trying to “keep Arizona great.”

Ethan was recently banned from Target stores after threatening to “hunt LGBT supporters.

The wig shop got a court order banning Ethan from returning to the store. Ethan went back in violation of that order. That is what led to Ethan’s arrest.

Ethan has made videos with Republicans Kari Lake, Paul Gosar, and Wendy Rogers.

On November 1, 1982, (Yes, 1982) a document was filed in a New Jersey court. This document, or at the very least its history, is something we need to be aware of. It was a CONSENT DECREE entered into between the DNC and the RNC.

In 1981, there was a group of Republicans in New Jersey calling themselves the “National Ballot Security Task Force.” As alleged by the Democratic National Committee in a lawsuit they filed against the RNC in Feb of 1982, this group got up to election shenanigans.

According to the DNC, the National Ballot Security Task Force sent mail to Black and Hispanic people with the instruction for the post office to not forward any mail undelivered to the original address, but rather return it to sender (them).

They then used the returned mail to create a list of voters to challenge during the general election. They got around 45,000 names for their challenge list. They then took those lists to Commissioners of Registration and asked that those names be removed from voter rolls.

This means if a Black voter changed addresses and the RNC found out about it, they tried to prevent them from voting. Bad, right? It gets worse, because they also hired county deputy sheriffs and local police officers to patrol the targeted Black and Hispanic polling places.

Either there is a "grand plan" in the works, or there is simply no plan. It is quite remarkable, however, that nearly 2 years have passed since the Insurrection -- and no higher-ups have been held accountable. Even Bannon & Navarro remain free to spread more lies on RW media. /2

There are also others, like Republicans Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, Paul Gosar & Andy Biggs -- who all sought pardons after January 6. From the outside, there does not appear to be any investigations into them. Instead, they were re-elected into Congress. /3

I cannot make any definitive claim about Merrick Garland and his Special Counsel selection of Jack Smith -- but I can explain what I have seen thus far. And thus far, there has been no legal accountability for any Republican lawmakers who broke the law, including Donald Trump /4

They may indict tomorrow. They may indict next month. Or they may indict next year. Nobody, other than Merrick Garland & Jack Smith, knows what will happen until either sweeping indictments are issued, or none are thrown down at all. Nobody can factually claim to truly know. /5

Trump attorney Christina Bobb is complaining that the J6 Committee isn’t presenting Trump’s side of the story: “They’re gagging Pres Trump’s side, but then they’re doing everything they can to put their witnesses out front and center.”

Either John Roberts is in the majority on the MS abortion case and passed over Clarence Thomas to assign the opinion to Alito, or Thomas is the senior Justice in the majority and chose not to assign the opinion to himself.

Either way, there’s a story here media must investigate.

My two preliminary thoughts:

(1) Thomas understands there’s heat on him and his wife over January 6, and moreover is in a position to know if that heat is *justified*. That in this context he passed up the chance to write the most important opinion of his life is *very* telling.

(2) There’s reasoned speculation from a Yale prof who was a former SCOTUS clerk—see link in my feed—that this opinion was leaked by a conservative clerk (with Thomas’s clerks the top suspects) to strongarm either Kavanaugh or Gorsuch into joining an opinion they were wavering on.

Remember that “Thomas Clerk World”—the private listserv for Thomas clerks past and present *and* insurrectionist Ginni Thomas—has been under scrutiny over January 6. These are the most radical clerks in America. *If* there was a far-right leak, they would be the leading suspects.

In fact, John Roberts’ investigation might well think to *start* with “Thomas Clerk World,” as it’s the one known digital venue for the sharing of information where Supreme Court clerks interact with insurrectionists who we *know* do not believe in rule of law: like Ginni Thomas.

Interesting: Marjorie Taylor Greene paid for $10,000 worth of legal services from Constitutional Counsel Group this quarter, per FEC filings -- that's John Eastman's law firm.
