Skill management, until the idea of micromanaging roles in Nigeria is demolished, try your best to get international gigs. From experience, international companies might not know it all, but I believe they have the learning culture already embedded in them..
if you call yourself an expert, they tend to listen to you first and learn from you first before downplaying your opinions. They also have a way of making allowance for their staff knowing that life can be a mess sometimes. They don't use your life experiences to judge your work.
Am I saying working with Nigerian companies is bad? No, all I'm saying from my experience, it's better for your growth and mental health to work with people who value your opinions, skill and emotions and these for me are often found with international companies.
