Sun Tzu

*)Sun Tzu was a well known military General and strategist who lived in ancient China.

*)Traditional historians believe that he lived between 544-496 B.C.

*) He grew up with an education focusing on military affairs and politics.

*) He participated in numerous campaigns and succeeded in becoming a General under the Wu dynasty.

*)Currently ,he is one of the East Asia’s most important historical figures.

*)His book "The Art of War" is a treatise, not only on military strategies & warfare but also on diplomacy, cultivating relationships with other states & avoiding battles etc.

*)His work was used by Napoleon, Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, Joseph Stalin & Douglas Macarthur etc.
