MY THOUGHTS ON WB ELECTION RESULTS TODAY

Changes don't come in a flash. They take time, patience, perseverance and sustained efforts. Instead of mocking, ridiculing and pointing fingers, it's time to congratulate everyone who contested bravely and fiercely.

As long as you keep trying hard with honesty, dedication and commitment, a positive result is just a matter of time. BJP grew from 2 to 300 in Lok Sabha in 30 years. BJP grew from 0 state to about 20 states in 30 years.

Five years ago, who would have thought that BJP will be the primary opposition and occupy 80 odd seats in the assembly ?

The selfless Karyakartas who were able to get 40% votes in Bengal deserve applause and salute.

From 10-15% a few years ago in assembly elections to 40% - it is not just a positive electoral outcome, but an ideological success as well.

BJP has completely displaced the communists and their regressive ideology from official position as the principal opposition party.

Historically in India, remember that every time Congress & Communists have been wiped out from a state, they have never been able to recover. The role of a large opposition is equally important and with sustained efforts - will only grow.
