Sharda Amba Mandir University played a key role in the development/popularisation of the Sharada script in North India, causing the script to be named after it, and Kashmir to acquire the moniker "Sharada Desh", meaning "country of Sharada".

New Sharada Amba Mandir will be built on the banks of Kishanganga river in Teetwal, en route to the Sarvajna Peeth with Sringeri Mutt support and will be providing a Panchaloha murti of Devi Sharada to be established in Kashmir just across the LOC.
