Positional trader - weekly/monthly

Swing trader - daily /3hours

⚡Positional trader - consolidation should be above 1/2years.

Hello Everyone. This is for everyone, who follows my call @CNBC_Awaaz . I always back the probabilities and try to give few picks which I've the max conviction upon. And my best of intentions is to offer my best. However there will be situations depending upon the market texture

Things will always not go as per plan. HCL Tech was picked up at around 1,200 yesterday 3pm. It made a high in the first 5mnt candle and came down. Now just because the call was given, please ensure to do your due diligence. Below are few pointers, and these can be applicable

to any of the trades you might have at your end. Try to follow these basic rules at least to save yourself from any major loss.

1: Check the HK Candles, see the body size & color continuation of candles.
2: Price Below VWAP (Avoid longs, or bring SLs closer). A must follow rule

3:ST (21/1) B/S signals must keep you on check
4: 8 Below 21 EMA should be a cause of concern
5: MACD Negative crossover must be also giving you a warning
6: RSI below RSI Avg. must keep your SLs tight or exit longs

Why: Shows the current size/scale of the business

Why: Shows the business model works & current growth rate

3/ Free Cash Flow

I've been subscribed to @WeekendInvestng's smallcases, multiple of them in fact, for quite some time now. I have always gradually used a simple price action based pyramiding up technique on top of his strategy. Here's how I personally do it:

Disclaimer: I share just one stock here which may or may not be held in any of his smallcases currently. @WeekendInvestng if you still feel this shouldn't be shared, I'll take it off immediately, just let me know. Leaking any sensitive info isn't the intention here.

So firstly, I have 2 accounts in my name, one in which I hold all my smallcases and do not tamper with them. In the other account, I only buy to pyramid up on the winners. I do this so that my smallcase constitution is okay and rebalance remains hassle free.

When Alok sir adds any stock to the smallcase, I'll just observe for 1-2 more rebalances for it to sustain/lose momentum.

Now if it's rate of change remains high, and it is becoming one of the better performers, I'll wait and watch till it enters a small consolidation. Once it breaks the consolidation range, I enter.

How you can filter stocks for Intraday trades - 🧵

As a kid, we would do homework before school the next day - you have to do homework here too. A specific sector performs on a particular day and studying things a day before will help you spot that particular sector. (1/11)

To prepare for the next trading day, you got to check the Index charts of all sectors. You got to keep an eye on a specific Index if you see a few factors:

- If any Index closed exactly at the resistance, you can get a trade on either side on the next day. (2/11)

- If it gave a rejection candle at resistance.

- If any Index closed exactly at support, you can get a trade on either side the following day.

- If there was a bullish signal at the support.

- If any Index gave a breakout or breakdown and then gave a good closing. (3/11)

- If any Index has taken support at 50 or 200 EMA.

Once you spot the Index, look at all the stocks in that particular Index. Pick at least 3-4 stocks from that Index and add them to your watchlist for the next day. It's ideal to check both higher and lower timeframes. (4/11)

What you should do next day? (When I am unable to check Indices and stocks a day before, I sometimes directly start with this process.)

- Start with checking the top gainers/losers list. I observe market from 9:15 to 9:45am to check the sectors performing well on that day.(5/11)
