My nationalist friends, the history of Indic religions is full of mutual acrimony, differences & divisions. It's also demonstrative of the fact that partly because of this disunity that followers of Abrahamic religions were able to spread their tentacles across our land & rule us

The questions that we need to ask ourselves now, when massive Break-India forces are arrayed against us, are these: Are we going to keep reminding ourselves of the hurts, real and perceived, that we have caused to one another in the past and keep getting at each other's throats?

Or are we going to bury the differences, unite & vanquish the Break-India forces?

All my posts have been aimed at raising these questions & letting you answer them to yourselves. I have no hidden agenda.

Many posts have been abusive. That hasn't made the slightest difference to me. It has just gone to show that their authors have run out of rational arguments to counter mine.

People have gone to the extent of speaking about civil war. Is it justified to call Sikhs as Talibanis? Sikhs have been getting enrolled in the defence forces for several years. Why should we blame them for some black sheep in the community?

I am indeed very grateful to you .@BharadwajSpeaks, Sir, for deigning to respond to me exhaustively. I now understand where you stand with respect to the ideal of Indic unity, the price you are prepared to pay for it, and the price you are not prepared to pay for it.

Since you evidently draw inspiration from Adi Shankaracharya, I thought I should raise a point with you about him.

As I understand it, Adi Shankaracharya strived to heal and invigorate divided Hinduism of his times.

He tried to replace diverse Hindu thought, rituals and practises with Nirgun, Advaita-driven thinking and behaviour on the one hand and Sagun Panchayatan thinking and behaviour on the other. All in all, his main effort seems to have been to integrate Hinduism.

What I am proposing is that we now go a step further and integrate all Indic faiths, as that is the need of the hour. We have many enemies to fight: Izlamism, Abrahamism, Communism, Secularism, Pseudo-liberalism. And we need the massive strength that only unity can give.

Further, may I ask you to kindly throw some light, whenever you have the time, on why Adi Shankaracharya was called Prachhanna (प्रच्छन्न) Buddha or Hidden/Veiled Buddha?

Decades later, India envisioned a cryogenic engine project at ISRO and signed an agreement with Russia for transfer of technology to develop cryogenic fuel-based engines.

However, the deal did not materialise as the US put pressure on the Russians not to transfer such critical technologies to India

Nevertheless, India signed a new agreement with Russia to design four cryogenic engines and ISRO chose its finest man, Narayanan to head it.

At a time when everything was going at an ease, a fabricated spy scandal surfaced in late 1994 which shut the doors for one of India’s greatest rocket scientists, Narayanan. (A huge conspiracy/plot by the Congress).

Narayanan was arrested.

Vijaykumari’s death took place in January, 1997. The cremation ceremony didn't even wait for her own father to do her last rites. Why?

The office answer given by JV is that she attained Mahasamadhi. If it were true, why hurry for cremation?

Anyway now the case is closed due to 'lack of evidence'.

2. The Cauvery matter: Rejuvenating rivers by giving missed calls (similar to free TN temples).

He collected funds for planting trees on the banks of river Cauvery. The Karnataka HC has taken up this case suo motu.

The court has asked them to submit details of the amount collected in the name of Cauvery Calling project. Not to forget he launched this project driving Mercedes Benz.

3. Destruction of Velliangiri Hills

The Madras High court is hearing a PIL filed by Vellingiri Hill Tribal Protection Society, seeking demolition of the alleged unauthorised structures so as to restore the wet lands. Could these hills be destroyed without the support of the then CM Karunanidhi?

Placing very strong points about some people, without naming those "celebrities". Please ponder upon these.

Several of our Sanatanis follow such people and these "celebrities" time and now hurt our religious feelings, and demean our culture in several ways.

What those people who delight in running down the Hindu culture forget is that Sanatan Dharma and our culture at large have been very self critical.

As a result of this self-critical attitude, several bright sparks rebelled against particular aspects of Hinduism and started their own religions, the Buddha, Mahavira, Basweshwar, and so on.

The beauty of Sanatan Dharma is that it established a friendly relationship with the followers of these religions and treated the progenitors of these new faiths as their own prophets.

We know of several Hindu households in which image of the Buddha is displayed with other Hindu deities in their puja rooms. We have worshiped them all without any discrimination.

Today I'm just quotating someone's words. Let's see how many of us recognise this man.

Fortunately for us, and for Kashmir, they were busy raiding, raping all along. In Baramulla they killed Colonel Dykes.

Dr. Anandibai Joshi

Upon her birth on 31 March 1865 she was named Yamuna, after the holy river. Her parents Gunputrao Amritaswar Joshee & Gungabai Joshee came from a long lineage of wealthy landlord family in Kalyan of Bombay Presidency, whose wealth was now waning.

Anandi was the sixth of 10 children, & had 4 brothers (only two of which survived) & five sisters. Her father was particularly fond of her, as she was a bright child with an inquisitive mind. Being an educated man himself, Ganpatrao assured that his daughter was taught Marathi.

As was common practice she was married at a tender age of 9, to Gopalrao Joshi, a 29 year old widower who worked as a postal clerk in the same city. After marriage her husband named her ‘Anandibai’ (which means ‘Joy of my heart’).

Gopalrao was man ahead of his times with reformist ideas & had married Anandibai on the condition that he would be allowed to educate his wife.

He even tried to enroll Anandi in a missionary school, but did not succeed. Despite being the supportive husband, Gopalrao had his flaws.

He was a strict teacher & would sometimes resort to beating if Anandi slacked in her studies.

Andaman Cellular Jail and S@varkar

What Vinayak S@varkar faced?

1. Each cell measured 13'6" by 7'6" with a very small ventilator.

2. There was a distinction made between Hindu and non-Hindu prisoners.

3. The Janeu of the Hindu prisoners was cut off whereas M prisoners were allowed to sport their beards.

4. The prisoners were released only for some time in the morning, afternoon and evening (just three times a day) to answer their nature calls. Locked at 7 pm till 7 am.

5. For the 12 hours of night they were given a small clay pot to relieve themselves.

6. The food given in the jail often caused diarrhoea and hence many prisoners defecated on the floors of their cells. One had to sleep in the same cell with excreta floating.

7. The sweeper threw tantrums to clean the cell and agreed only if he were offered tobacco.

8. Each prisoner was given 3.5 gram of salt per day. Sometimes kerosene oil was mixed with the breakfast of rice kanji/ganji, which caused diarrhoea.

9. For torture, they were handcuffed and made to stand from 7 am to 11 am and thn from 12 pm to 5 pm. The feet were chained too. This punishment sometimes lasted for several months. If one couldn't control nature's call during this period, he was punished more.
